Jennifer Kossler Haouari, AIA, NCARB
Jennifer Kossler Haouari is a licensed architect and president of Atelier JK Architects and Interiors, PC. She has designed projects for clients throughout the United States and internationally since 1994. Prior to forming AJKA, Jennifer worked for several celebrity design firms in NYC: Clodagh Design, Sills Huniford, Mansour Design, and Perkins and Will iand Jordan Mozer in Chicago. Her work has been published in a number of design publications and magazines.
Her education consists of a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio 1993; a Master of Architecture from University of Colorado, Denver, Colorado 1997. She has also earned diplomas from international graduate school programs in architecture from St. Petersburg State University, St. Petersburg, Russia and the University of Washington, Rome Center, Rome, Italy.
Ms. Kossler Haouari earned her national ceritification as an architect with the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) in 2000. She is a licensed architect in many states throughout the US including New York, Connecticut, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, and West Virginia. She has over 20 years of design experience with unique clientele both nationally and internationally.
She held the position of Town Commissioner for the Historic District Commission in Greenwich, CT- a Mayor appointed position from 2013-2016-a position focused on historic preservation. Her most recent volunteer efforts include the redesign of the International Justice Mission Headquarters Building in Guatemala 2016-2017. She coauthored the White Paper: Retail Strategies for Lower Manhattan adopted by Mayor Bloomberg. Ms. Kossler Haoauri’s affiliations are the American Institute of Architects, National Council of Architectural Boards, the Greenwich Historical Society, the Junior League of Greenwich & Fairfield County, and the Women’s Leadership Live national organization led by Linda McMahon.
